Factors that effect screen appearance:
color depth:the # of colors that a monitor is able to display (really not an issue anymore)
monitor resolution: # of pixels when measured horizontally and vertically
Operating System: type of computer and this can effect how browsers and type looks
Browser Type: function is to receive layout and styling information from a host and display that information on screen.
